The Nursing & Healthcare School boasts a vibrant community of postgraduate research scholars, including both UK-based and international students. Students can pursue either a PhD or MSc through Research programs.
Our postgraduate researchers represent diverse clinical backgrounds, with particular emphasis on nursing and physiotherapy. Their research projects focus on two primary clinical themes: Palliative/End-of-Life Care and Self-Management Support. We actively encourage students to share their findings through conference presentations, academic papers, and relevant professional events. The school fosters collaboration through shared workspaces, writing workshops, social gatherings, and structured academic initiatives. Applications are accepted year-round, with two annual enrollment periods in January and October.
The College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences Graduate School creates an energizing, nurturing academic atmosphere for all postgraduate scholars. We're committed to delivering exceptional support through dedicated program coordinators, expert supervisors, and comprehensive student welfare services.
