Qualification Requirements

A first degree equivalent to a UK Upper Second Class Honours degree with:
a substantial Mathematics component (at least equivalent to Level-1 courses in Mathematics and Level-2 courses in Calculus and Linear Algebra at the University of Glasgow)
a substantial component of Statistics methodology, including at least Honours-level courses in probability theory, likelihood-based inference and the theory of linear models
This programme is not available to recent graduates who have been awarded an undergraduate degree in Statistics from the University of Glasgow.
Only applications that meet or exceed our stated entry requirements will go forward for consideration. Any application that does not will be automatically rejected. Applicants will be made offers based on their relative performance compared to other applicants, considering both current GPA to date or degree classification, English language level achieved to date, and the relevance of an applicant's academic background. If an offer is made, it may be unconditional or conditional on completing a degree or obtaining the required English language scores.
