This Master's program in Adult Learning, Community Development & Youth Work enables students to explore both theoretical frameworks and practical applications in adult education, community engagement, and youth development. You'll acquire essential competencies to collaborate with community members in driving meaningful, lasting social transformation. The curriculum covers all three key areas of Community Learning and Development: Adult Education, Community Building, and Youth Services.

Participants undertake mandatory core courses along with specialized electives. Those pursuing either the MEd or PgDip pathways can obtain professional recognition from Scotland's Community Learning and Development Standards Council. This certified option requires completing 480 hours of fieldwork within a community setting.
