This program prepares you to examine and interpret the influential forces and major actors extending beyond national borders (including social movements, civil society organizations, multinational corporations, and international institutions) that shape critical global challenges like climate change, poverty, and inequality. Our approach goes beyond theory - through instruction, skill-building, and practical engagement, we mentor and empower you to cultivate the capabilities required to drive meaningful transformation.
The curriculum emphasizes developing career-ready abilities such as advisory services, program coordination, intercultural competence, and evaluative thinking to excel in international development. For practical experience, you can choose between serving as a consultant for domestic or global organizations or pursuing conventional internships. Your professional growth begins in your first term and evolves continuously throughout your studies.
Through dynamic seminars, domestic and overseas field studies, independent research projects, team collaborations, volunteer work, and internships - complemented by language acquisition opportunities and training in advisory services and program leadership - you'll bridge academic knowledge with real-world application while refining the innovative and critical thinking skills valued by NGOs, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and corporations.
