Our exploration spans from the Baltic states to the Balkan peninsula and from Germany's capital to Russia's far east, examining pivotal matters in this strategically important territory. The University serves as the base for a government-supported Centre of Excellence focused on Russian, Central & East European Studies, organizing year-round cultural, academic, and social activities. While optional, students can choose to learn Hungarian, Czech, Polish, or Russian languages.

Our Q-Step Centre delivers five distinct degree programs within the School of Social and Political Sciences that incorporate comprehensive quantitative training. Recent expansions of the EU and NATO into Eastern Europe, coupled with evolving situations in Russia, Ukraine, other post-Soviet states, and the Balkans, have generated significant need for regional experts. Our alumni have established successful careers with the European Commission, British diplomatic services, non-governmental organizations, media outlets, and international corporations.
