Alumni have pursued diverse paths including primary/secondary education, museum curation, heritage conservation, publishing, music, business ventures, and academic research.
Students who completed Celtic Civilisation in their initial years may opt to learn Scottish Gaelic or pair medieval Celtic history with ancient Celtic languages. The curriculum offers specialized courses covering areas like early Irish/Scottish belief systems, Scottish language policy, Gaelic oral traditions, ancient Celtic writings, Welsh medieval literature, and Celtic artistry. Honors students can explore advanced topics including medieval Ireland, Northern Britons, and Pictish history, culminating in an independent research dissertation on a self-selected Celtic-related subject.
