Exploring Celtic Civilisation delves into the rich heritage of the Celts, tracing the evolution of their communities, written works, artifacts, artistic expressions, and spiritual beliefs from ancient Europe to contemporary Britain and Ireland. As part of a combined degree program, you'll examine both medieval and modern traditions of Celtic-speaking populations alongside leading researchers, without needing to study a Celtic language. The University maintains dynamic exchange programs with Trinity College Dublin and institutions in North America and Australia that provide Celtic studies. Alumni have pursued diverse professions such as elementary and high school education, museum curation, heritage conservation roles in government agencies, as well as careers in publishing and literary promotion. Some graduates have continued their academic journey through advanced studies, establishing themselves in research and university teaching positions.
