OverviewThis program will equip you to analyze, evaluate, and actively participate in food cultures and systems across both industrialized and developing societies.Our foundational courses offer cross-disciplinary insights from archaeology, classics, history, anthropology, sociology, geography, political economy, business studies, and life sciences.Elective modules enable you to build specialized knowledge in areas like sustainable agriculture, health and nutrition, community initiatives, education, or business and social innovation - or to pursue advanced research through theoretical and methodological studies across various fields.Customizable program tracks let you focus on eitherFood, Culture, and Society, orSustainable Food Systems. You'll have opportunities for professional placements or internships to acquire practical experience and establish career connections.
We will consider applicants with a 2:2 Honours degree with 53% or above in any social science, humanities or environmental studies. Applications from candidates with relevant professional experience and evidence of good research and writing skills will also be considered. IELTS :6.5 overall and no less than 6 in any section and TOEFL:90 with minimum scores of 21 for writing, listening, reading and speaking.
