Our PhD Law program provides supervision across two key research areas: human rights and technology law. Our scholars actively contribute to discussions on justice both within the UK and internationally. Faculty members collaborate with global entities such as the United Nations, various governments, human rights groups, and multinational corporations. We boast a strong track record of securing significant research funding from prestigious organizations like the ESRC, Nuffield Foundation, and Leverhulme Trust.
Alumni from our program have pursued diverse career paths in legal practice, business, NGO sectors, and academia, including positions within our own Essex Law School.
