Our MPhil Applied Physics program focuses on key research domains: optical and semiconductor technologies, theoretical and experimental semiconductor studies, photonics, ultrafast system development for Terahertz research, and molecular THz spectroscopy. These interdisciplinary initiatives leverage the combined knowledge of our specialists in electronics, computing, mathematics, physics, and psychology.
Joining our School enables both new graduates and working professionals to acquire fresh competencies or refine current expertise. Alumni have advanced to leadership roles across corporate and academic sectors. Notable employers of our graduates feature Alcatel Submarine, BT Group, QinetiQ, Dolby Laboratories, Fujitsu, Royal Air Forces, along with positions at our University and Imperial College London.
The School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering offers both recent graduates and practicing engineers chances to develop new capabilities or strengthen existing skills.
Our alumni have achieved prominent roles in various industries and academic institutions.
