Our PhD program in Survey Methodology provides expert guidance in quantitative research methods, focusing on key areas including: sampling techniques, weighting procedures, non-response analysis, response rate optimization, mode comparison studies, data integration, and error measurement. We particularly encourage applicants with research interests in both sampling and non-sampling challenges within cross-sectional and longitudinal studies, such as the British Household Panel Survey and Understanding Society projects. Students will benefit from supervision by internationally renowned specialists in these domains.
