Our Bachelor of Science in Global Sustainability program tackles the critical issues impacting Earth and its ecosystems. This interdisciplinary degree prepares you to solve worldwide challenges through innovative approaches and hands-on problem-solving.
You'll explore human-nature interactions across local, regional, and global scales while developing essential data analysis skills for sustainability careers. Our research-driven faculty will provide the expertise to confront our planet's most pressing environmental issues.

Organizations across government, nonprofit, and corporate sectors increasingly require sustainability integration, creating expanding job prospects.
There's growing need for cross-disciplinary scientists in sustainability-related fields including education, research, business, policy, NGOs, and industry - with roles like Circular Economy Specialists, Sustainability Advisors, Policy Directors, Carbon Neutrality Planners, and Environmental Restoration Coordinators.
Numerous alumni enhance their qualifications by pursuing advanced degrees such as Master's programs or doctoral research.

Qualification Requirements

GCSE: Mathematics C/4 A-levels: BBB - BBC or 120 – 112 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 2 full A-levels including B in Biology or Environmental Science (or equivalent). Acceptable A-level equivalents are Environmental Technology, Geography, Life and Health Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics. Please note we are unable to accept A-level Applied Science to meet the Biology or Environmental Science (or equivalent) requirement BTEC: DDM – DMM or 120 – 112 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of the equivalent of 2 full A-levels. Other qualifications that hold UCAS tariff points, and combined qualifications: 120 – 112 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 2 full A levels or equivalent including B in Biology or Environmental Science (or equivalent). IB:30-29 points points or three Higher Level certificates with 555 - 554 including 5 in Higher Level Biology. Plus Standard Level Mathematics, if not taken at Higher Level. We will accept grade 4 in either Standard Level Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches or Standard Level Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation. We are also happy to consider a combination of separate IB Diploma Programme courses (formerly certificates) at both Higher and Standard Level. Exact offer levels will vary depending on the range of subjects being taken at higher and standard level, and the course applied for. IELTS- 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component TOEFL IBT- 76 overall, with a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing
