Our Environmental Sciences BSc(Hons) program with an integrated foundation year combines knowledge from geography, ecology, geology, and biology to examine sustainability, conservation, pollution, and earth systems.
This extended foundation year creates pathways into scientific studies for those lacking direct entry qualifications, career changers, or returning students seeking to join the Environmental Sciences BSc(Hons) program.
Practical application is central to this course. You'll engage in field studies both internationally and locally, taking advantage of our coastal, river, and downland environments while learning alongside researchers from our Centre for Aquatic Environments.
Professional growth is integrated through modules focused on tackling global issues and enhancing lab skills. A placement year option is also available.
