Mechatronics integrates concepts from mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, automation, and robotics. As a mechatronic engineer, you'll design, build, and evaluate devices that merge these diverse fields into unified systems. The program equips you with expertise in engineering workflows, product development, digital circuitry, and computer-aided design (CAD) tools, empowering you to transform conceptual ideas into functional mechatronic solutions.
Our BEng in Mechatronic Systems encompasses electronics, electrical engineering, and coding. Key study areas include:
Additive Manufacturing, Power Electronics and Motor Drives, Software Development, Sensor Technology and Signal Processing
Motion Control Systems, Robotics and Machine Vision, Microcontroller Applications

As intelligent systems advance, traditional disciplinary lines are fading, creating soaring demand for versatile mechatronics professionals.
This expanding field offers career opportunities across multiple sectors including aviation, automotive, finance, industrial production, resource extraction, energy generation, product innovation, and food processing - all increasingly dependent on cutting-edge mechatronic technologies.
We maintain strong industry partnerships with robotics firms for entertainment applications, automotive diagnostic specialists, and electronics design/manufacturing companies. These collaborators offer our students mentorship, internships, and career prospects upon graduation.
