Our BA in History and Sociology encourages you to examine how these two fields intersect and complement each other.
History students delve into both early modern and contemporary eras, tackling complex issues about how political, social, and cultural transformations affect individuals, communities, and regions.
Sociology students examine the bonds that unite people as well as the divisions between them. The curriculum covers all facets of daily life, from our interactions with public figures and personal connections to how we perceive ourselves, our families, and others. You'll explore diverse subjects like colonialism, social inequality, cultural studies, identity politics, citizenship, multiculturalism, and human rights.

History students develop sought-after professional skills, including critical analysis, effective communication, cultural understanding, and rapid adaptation to new systems—all highly applicable across industries.
Our alumni pursue careers in education, museum work, and archival fields, while others enter diverse sectors like media, legal professions, government, and public administration.
