The BA in Global Studies and Latin American Studies prepares you with versatile skills to engage meaningfully during this era of transformation. You'll examine critical modern concerns, from migration challenges to environmental shifts, while developing a worldwide outlook to tackle current issues.
This multidisciplinary program merges the expansive scope of Global Studies with intensive exploration of Latin America's history and cultural heritage. As one of the planet's most captivating and intricate regions, Latin America boasts remarkable indigenous diversity alongside rapidly expanding economies, significant ecological concerns, and vibrant artistic legacies. Studying this region will expand your perspectives, push your boundaries, and offer unexpected insights.
Unlike the BA Global Studies with Latin American Studies, this program requires a year abroad in Latin America and includes mandatory language study.

Exact offer levels will vary depending on the range of subjects being taken at higher and standard level, and the course applied for. Access to HE Diploma: 15 level 3 credits at Distinction and 30 level 3 credits at Merit, depending on subject studied - advice on acceptability can be provided.
