In the BA Economics with Psychology program, you'll explore the world economy, the psychological factors influencing economic behavior, and cognitive processes, while learning complementary approaches to assess decision-making. This degree offers greater flexibility with elective courses, enabling you to customize your studies based on your interests. By merging economics and psychology, you'll develop a deeper understanding of why people don't always act in their best interest. Grasping these concepts and behavioral economics frameworks empowers policymakers to design systems that guide individuals toward better choices and improved well-being.
Your learning is shaped by cutting-edge economic research, ensuring you graduate with robust analytical skills. Our institution ranks 4th in the UK for research strength in economics and econometrics (Times Higher Education research power metric, Research Excellence Framework 2021).

Employers increasingly seek economists capable of critical analysis, data interpretation, and solving real-world challenges. This program enhances your career prospects, bringing you closer to your ideal profession or advanced studies after graduation.
Our graduates are highly sought after across diverse industries, including financial services, corporate management, government roles, and accounting.
