Our program enables you to explore art history and theory while learning French (post-A Level), German, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese (post-A Level or beginner level), including an opportunity to study abroad at partner institutions like Paris's Ecole du Louvre. You'll experience a unique curriculum spanning the entire history of art, offering diverse specialization options while developing fluency in one or more languages. Interact with artworks ranging from classical masterpieces to Pre-Raphaelite works, Surrealist pieces, and cutting-edge contemporary visual culture. Coursework examines various artistic mediums, from architecture and urban design to photography, video, painting, printmaking, performance art, and sculpture. We've integrated specialized tracks for curatorial and museum careers, with annual modules focusing on exhibition theories, gallery practices, and museum studies. Additionally, you can either start learning a new language to complement your studies or enhance existing language proficiency.
