East 15 Acting School's BA (Hons) Acting program cultivates your personal artistry, creativity, and technical abilities, equipping you for success as an innovative and adaptable performer in the entertainment industry. Our curriculum fosters deep artistic exploration, guiding you through a transformative process that reveals your distinctive strengths as an actor. You'll master diverse methodologies and gain practical experience, developing both your personal expression and professional technique while deepening your self-awareness and theatrical understanding. This journey not only sharpens your performance abilities but also nurtures self-assurance and a recognizable artistic identity.During your studies, you'll collaborate with numerous instructors and visiting professionals, each contributing real-world expertise. This immersion in varied approaches and performance styles expands your perspective on the field, providing practical knowledge and competencies. Training primarily occurs in intimate, specialized sessions led by our industry-seasoned faculty.In your initial two years, you'll systematically build your acting foundation, expanding your range and technical proficiency. The third year emphasizes career preparation, focusing on applying your abilities with visiting directors and working professionals.We aim to shape resilient, multifaceted performers capable of excelling across theater, film, digital media, and voice work. You'll gain expertise in interpreting everything from traditional texts to modern and avant-garde pieces, preparing you to approach varied creative challenges with assurance in our rapidly changing industry.The program is based at our Loughton Campus.East 15 also provides an intensive one-year foundation in acting principles. Our undergraduate offerings include specialized performance programs alongside courses in Creative Producing and Stage Management.International applicants may consider our BA Acting (International), specifically designed to prepare global students for acting careers worldwide.
Applicants will need to submit a video audition and, if successful, complete a recall audition/workshop. Applicants should also have, or expect to have:
A-levels: EE, or 32 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 2 full A-levels.
BTEC: PP, or 32 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of the equivalent of 2 full A-levels.
Combined qualifications on the UCAS tariff: 32 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 2 full A levels or equivalent.
T-levels: Pass with E in core.
IB: two Higher Level certificates with 33
IB Career-related Programme: We consider combinations of IB Diploma Programme courses with BTECs or other qualifications.
IELTS- 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component TOEFL IBT- 76 overall, with a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing
