Individuals with social science expertise who are interested in cross-disciplinary subjects are drawn to socio-cultural studies, along with those from arts or humanities fields seeking to develop social research capabilities.
PhD candidates may submit applications to the Arts & Humanities Research Council, with several having already secured AHRC funding for their doctoral projects.
The one-year MSc by Research in Socio-Cultural Studies serves either as an independent program or as preparation for PhD studies, providing instruction in various qualitative research techniques.
