This program provides a distinctive viewpoint, recognizing that children and youth mental health and wellbeing are shaped by developmental factors across various levels - from individual to societal - and that our intervention strategies should reflect this complex, interconnected system.

The curriculum helps students cultivate a sophisticated, analytical understanding of youth mental health by examining the developmental roots of psychological challenges.

Coursework integrates cognitive, developmental, and relationship-based theories alongside risk and resilience frameworks to foster comprehensive insights into how wellbeing and mental health develop and persist.
