Your studies will focus on Greats: From Plato to the Enlightenment, Morality and Value, and Logic 1. These foundational courses explore major themes in philosophical history, ethical theories, and argument analysis. You may opt for Philosophy of Science 1, examining philosophical questions surrounding scientific practice. Your curriculum includes two core courses: Mind, Matter and Language, and Knowledge and Reality, alongside elective options across various disciplines. As you progress, you'll concentrate your studies by selecting courses from key philosophical domains. Advanced studies involve choosing additional specialized courses and completing either an independent dissertation on a self-selected topic or a coursework dissertation comprising two extended essays related to your chosen courses.

SQA Highers: AAAA-AABB by end of S5 or AAAA-AAAB by end of S6. BBB must be achieved in one year of S4-S6.
A Levels: AAA - ABB.
IB: 37 points with 666 HL - 34 points with 655 at HL.

SQA Highers: ABBB by end of S6. BBB must be achieved in one year of S4-S6.
