The field of structural and fire safety is incredibly broad, influencing our everyday lives in numerous and often surprising manners. As a participant in this program, you'll acquire essential knowledge in civil and environmental engineering while mastering techniques to reduce fire hazards through thoughtful infrastructure design, construction, and protection. This expertise will enable you to assess how contemporary building techniques and materials affect the safety of structures and public works.
Our program maintains robust industry connections via our Industrial Advisory Board and incorporates professional insights into our curriculum, particularly in design projects.
Additionally, you'll have chances to engage with alumni currently employed in various industry sectors.

The standard entry requirement is:

SQA Highers: AABB by end of S5 or AAAB by end of S6. BBB must be achieved in one year of S4-S6.
A Levels: AAA - ABB.
IB: 34 points with 555 at HL - 32 points with 555 at HL.

The minimum entry requirement for widening access applicants is:

IELTS Academic module overall 6.5 with 5.5 in each component
