This ongoing need for specialized language educators means trainee teachers can access some of the most generous training bursaries available. These professionals help students cultivate essential, enduring skills.
In East London schools, French, German, and Spanish dominate language instruction, with additional offerings including Italian, Russian, Mandarin, Japanese, Urdu, and Bengali.
Our program prepares you to become an exceptional modern languages educator, capable of creating dynamic, varied lessons that inspire and engage every student.
Through subject-focused training, you'll learn innovative methods to support all learners - from those needing extra help to high achievers - enhancing their oral and written language abilities.
Campus-based instruction begins with weekly thematic lectures, followed by seminar discussions. You'll collaborate in both subject-specific and interdisciplinary groups. Our training mirrors school environments, with small class sizes of about 30 students ensuring ample subject-focused interaction.
