Pursuing a master's in law offers law graduates an excellent opportunity to specialize, while professionals from related fields can deepen their legal knowledge. Given the expansive nature of legal studies, our general LLM program provides significant flexibility. Alternatively, you may choose one of our specialized tracks concentrating on specific subjects (refer to related courses below).
This general LLM emphasizes student choice in course selection. The sole required module is the 'Dissertation or Work-Based Project,' with the remaining curriculum composed of electives from a broad range of options.
Our four specialized tracks (Business & Financial Law, Human Rights Advocacy, International Law & Legal Practice, Transitional Justice & Conflict) highlight key themes within our law department, allowing you to concentrate on your preferred aspects of this multifaceted discipline.
LLM instruction combines lectures, seminars, and workshops. We emphasize active learning through problem-solving exercises, group discussions, and case studies to make concepts tangible. All lectures are available as podcasts, providing flexible access to course materials and the ability to review specific sessions.
For practicing legal professionals, this program offers targeted training to develop expertise in chosen specializations.
Students can gain hands-on experience through work-based projects while establishing professional connections. Our distinguished Law Clinic further enhances practical skills by involving students in actual legal cases serving local community members.
