This program provides a comprehensive foundation in civil engineering design, construction, and project management. With strong industry connections and excellent graduate employment rates, students benefit from frequent visits to London's landmark construction sites along with professionally supervised fieldwork and projects. The entry requirement is 96 UCAS points, and A-level mathematics isn't mandatory. First-year students complete a supplementary module to strengthen and expand their GCSE-level math skills. Alternatively, students can enter directly into the final year by completing our two-year Civil Engineering Foundation degree, making this program particularly suitable for those with solid foundational math skills (though not necessarily advanced) who aim to pursue careers in management or various technical specialties. The degree holds accreditation from the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), which includes major engineering institutions, fully meeting the educational requirements for Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status as recognized by the Engineering Council.
