This program provides comprehensive civil engineering knowledge along with practical industry exposure. You'll experience workplace culture, build professional networks, and develop skills as a future engineer.
For those undecided about their civil engineering specialization, this versatile program offers an excellent foundation. The initial years focus on core subjects including structural engineering, water infrastructure, fluid dynamics, and geotechnical studies, covering both analytical and design aspects.

Later stages delve into specialized structural engineering topics like bridge design, high-rise construction, sustainable practices, soil mechanics, and individual research projects.

In your final year, you'll undertake a semester-long Integrated Design Project. This ambitious assignment challenges you to conceptualize an urban renewal plan for an actual Sheffield location.
