Whether designing album covers, book jackets, editorial content, or exploring animation, printmaking, and comics, our illustration BA offers an intensive journey toward professional mastery
This program boasts a vibrant, unconventional character that defies industry norms. We push students to tackle diverse creative challenges using traditional, contemporary, and emerging techniques while discovering their personal artistic identity and distinctive visual style.
Our illustration alumni enter exciting careers across multiple fields. Some work as magazine illustrators or book cover designers, while others teach or join graphic design firms.

We also welcome applications from students who are taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator, and will assess the suitability, on a case by case basis.

All applicants are required to submit a digital portfolio.

In addition to one of the above, you should have:
GCSE English Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English
GCSE Mathematics Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics 4

Overall IELTS score of 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking (or recognised equivalent).
