Educating children aged 3-7 involves playing a pivotal role in establishing early educational foundations while fostering enthusiasm for learning during these formative years. This position includes specialized emphasis on Mathematics instruction.
This developmental phase represents a critical juncture in education, establishing the groundwork for future academic success. Teaching at this level proves both intellectually stimulating and rewarding as you cultivate individual student understanding, build meaningful connections, and contribute to nurturing environments that promote effective learning.
Our Primary PGCE program, created through strong collaborations with East Anglian primary schools and Early Years Foundation Stage providers, prepares you to become a skilled, confident educator capable of inspiring students and managing classrooms successfully.
Graduates who complete the PGCE program earn Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) along with 90 Master's level credits.
This intensive one-year program runs from September to July, with substantial school-based experience including minimum 120 days (24 weeks) in primary placements plus additional school days for practicing essential teaching techniques, complemented by up to 60 days of instructional sessions. Placements occur in two distinct school settings to provide valuable contrasting educational perspectives.
