When teaching children aged 5-11, you'll have a crucial responsibility for inspiring young learners and cultivating their enthusiasm for education, with special emphasis on Mathematics instruction.
An excellent math curriculum should spark students' natural curiosity, build their confidence, expand their perspectives, and promote constructive learning attitudes.
Created through strong collaborations with primary schools across East Anglia, our Primary PGCE program prepares you to become a skilled, self-assured educator capable of inspiring students and maintaining effective classroom management.
After successfully completing the PGCE, you'll earn Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) along with 90 credits at Master's level.
This intensive one-year program runs from September to July. Most of your time will be spent in school placements - with a minimum of 120 days (24 weeks) in primary placements plus additional school days for practicing essential teaching techniques, complemented by up to 60 days of instructional sessions.
