The MSc Economics program is a key component of our Academic and Professional Programme, tailored for individuals aiming to build careers as professional economists in government or industry, or those planning to advance to PhD studies. This program is perfect if you've previously studied economics and seek rigorous, research-focused training in advanced economic theory, econometrics, and research methodologies. Applicants should possess a strong undergraduate degree (minimum 2:1 or first-class honors) with significant economics content, or hold a graduate diploma in economics.
The mandatory core curriculum includes taught modules covering economic theory and econometrics. Beyond these essentials, students can select from various optional modules such as Behavioural and Experimental Economics, Finance, Industrial Organisation and Competition Economics, and Development Economics.
