Combining Geology and Geography studies provides insights into Earth's physical structure and how its phenomena like volcanic eruptions, seismic activity, and flooding impact society. This interdisciplinary program blends geological, geographical, social, and core scientific perspectives to examine human-Earth interactions, allowing you to concentrate on your preferred specialties.
Your first year establishes fundamental geological knowledge while developing research capabilities and examining environmental challenges tied to climate, disasters, land management, ecological diversity, and sustainable practices. Advanced coursework offers specialization options across diverse subjects including landform evolution, water systems analysis, energy resources, Earth physics, and hazard assessment.

Where applicable Science A Levels awarded by an English Exam board require a pass in the practical element.
