This program offers you the chance to examine diverse political concepts, systems, participants, and ideologies. You'll investigate fundamental political principles including democratic governance, notions of liberty, and market-based economic systems, among others. Analyzing political mechanisms entails understanding governmental operations, observing the functions and actions of elected representatives, administrations, political organizations, advocacy coalitions, and citizens. You'll uncover how influence manifests in political spheres, the limitations various participants encounter, and whether specific entities such as corporations and news organizations enjoy preferential influence. Additionally, you'll explore how gender, socioeconomic status, and ethnicity intersect with political systems and results.
