You'll engage with core modules in human and social geography that examine pressing modern challenges through a geographical framework - encompassing poverty, inequality, racial issues, health disparities, migration patterns, and urban growth - with particular emphasis on human-environment interactions and social justice transformation. The curriculum includes practical training in crucial skills such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), qualitative and quantitative research methods, complemented by extensive fieldwork experience.
