Medical education serves as the foundation of healthcare systems globally. To equip future professionals for contemporary healthcare demands, we require skilled medical educators to guide and refine training practices.
Established more than four decades ago by distinguished Professor Ronald Harden OBE, our Centre for Medical Education supports educators in achieving their objectives while preparing them to train tomorrow's healthcare workforce.
Our flexible program accommodates your professional schedule, whether you're beginning your teaching journey or seeking to enhance your current expertise. We provide three credential options: a Master of Medical Education (MMEd), a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip), and a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert), allowing you to select your preferred level of study.
Regardless of your chosen program level, your studies will commence with two foundational modules that introduce key medical education principles, creating a solid base for further learning.
You'll then customize your path by selecting from various elective modules to earn a qualification aligned with your aspirations. Master's candidates will additionally complete a dissertation focused on a subject relevant to their professional interests.
