Philosophy examines the human condition through analytical reasoning and debate. If you often ponder life's profound mysteries and inquiries, philosophy might be your calling.
During Levels 1 and 2, you'll gain foundational knowledge in both classical and contemporary philosophy, exploring core concepts in ethics, epistemology (the study of knowledge), and metaphysics (the study of reality).
At Levels 3 and 4, you'll focus your studies by choosing from diverse philosophy courses taught by faculty conducting cross-disciplinary research.
Your studies will cover existentialism's connection to modern culture, technology, and cinema, along with aesthetic theory and art philosophy. The program also fosters connections between philosophy and other disciplines like political science, literature, film studies, environmental studies, psychology, and computing.
