Philosophy examines human existence through analytical reasoning and debate. If you often ponder life's profound mysteries and inquiries, philosophy might be your calling.
During Levels 1 and 2, you'll gain foundational knowledge in both classical and contemporary philosophy, covering core concepts in ethics, epistemology (the study of knowledge), and metaphysics (the study of reality).
At Levels 3 and 4, you'll focus your studies by choosing from diverse philosophy courses taught by faculty conducting cross-disciplinary research.
Your coursework will explore existentialism's connections to modern culture, technology, and cinema, along with examining aesthetic theories and art philosophy. The program emphasizes connecting philosophical concepts with other disciplines including political science, literature, film studies, environmental studies, psychology, and computing.
