Combining history and philosophy studies provides a diverse selection of course modules.
Our curriculum covers social, cultural, and political history spanning from early modern times to the present day, with special emphasis on Britain, Europe, the Americas, Africa, and India.
From the outset, you'll work with primary sources, examining different forms of historical evidence such as documents, oral accounts, maps, visual materials, films, artworks, and musical pieces. You'll investigate how source materials and media portrayals shape our understanding of history.
