This program will push you to harness nature's potential for ecological and community impact while equipping you with essential skills to launch your outdoor profession.
Located at our Ambleside campus within the Lake District National Park, you'll pursue outdoor and environmental education amidst stunning mountainscapes, forests, waterways, and lakes.
The curriculum emphasizes adopting adventurous yet responsible lifestyles that consider both social and environmental factors to tackle today's ecological and cultural issues.
Through practical outdoor training, you'll study the environmental, ecological, and geographical forces that mold natural spaces. You'll investigate how outdoor activities can enhance health and wellness, with chances to participate in collaborative projects combining fieldwork with professional applications in outdoor and environmental settings.
Multiple UK field excursions are included, plus the option for independent travel to Spain's Picos de Europa region. These experiences will prepare you for a rewarding career in outdoor professions. Potential paths include environmental education, conservation and ecosystem management, or outdoor therapeutic practices.
