The MSc in Sociology and Social Inequalities provides in-depth sociological education centered on analyzing and combating societal disparities. You'll gain comprehensive methodological skills while adopting an interdisciplinary perspective to examine inequality's origins, systems, and consequences at personal, communal, national, and international levels. Potential study areas encompass the interplay of race, gender, and class, equity movements, environmental challenges, emerging technologies, and strategies for building fairer societies. Available both on-site and digitally, this program allows worldwide participation. A flexible 5-year study plan is offered for this degree.
A minimum of an upper second-class Bachelors' degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in sociology or a related social science subject. If you do not meet these requirements individuals with relevant work experience, or with A level sociology and an undergraduate degree in another subject who show a clear desire to change discipline may be considered. IELTS: Overall score of 7.5 and a minimum of 7.0 in each component. TOEFL: Overall score of 109 with 27/30 in reading and writing and 23/30 in speaking and listening.
