The Graduate Diploma in Humanities and Social Sciences provides international students with a one-year preparatory program for postgraduate studies at Queen Mary or other UK universities. Available in both September-June and January-July formats, this rigorous program focuses on business and management, politics and international relations, linguistics, or film studies. The curriculum includes two mandatory modules plus two electives tailored to your intended Master's specialization. Through this program, you'll gain foundational expertise in your chosen discipline while enhancing your postgraduate-level academic English skills.
Successful diploma graduates meeting grade requirements secure automatic admission to related Master's programs at Queen Mary. This qualification also facilitates entry to postgraduate courses at other top UK universities.
Degree: At least a pass in a full first degree that is equivalent to a UK undergraduate degree, We will consider most degree subjects, We expect applicants to have passed all final year modules. Awards with failed modules in the final year of academic study will be considered on a case by case basis at the discretion of the academic department. 
IELTS (Academic) minimum score 5.5 overall with 5.5 in each of Writing, Listening, Reading and Speaking; TOEFL minimum score 72 overall with 17 in Writing, 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening and 20 in Speaking.
