This four-year degree provides exceptional training in a dynamic area of science and engineering. You'll develop a solid grounding in fundamental physics along with specialized expertise in medical applications, equipping you for diverse career paths both within and beyond medical physics - including opportunities in healthcare, research, and industry. Students can choose between a three-year Physics with Medical Physics BSc or a more comprehensive four-year Medical Physics MSci. Both programs share identical coursework for the first two years, allowing transfers between them until Year 2 concludes. We recommend initially applying for the MSci to maintain flexibility in your decision-making. Instruction occurs across two world-class, research-focused departments: UCL Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering (MPBE) and UCL Physics and Astronomy (P&A), offering unparalleled learning experiences.
