A high upper second-class Bachelor's degree (average 65% and above), or a BA/BSc (any result) plus a minimum of 2 years proven experience in the translation industry, or an MA/MSc (any result), or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. Students should only translate out of a language in which they have an advanced level and translate into a language in which they have native proficiency (language combinations subject to availability). The English language level for this programme is: Level 4

The courses will develop your academic English and academic skills required to succeed at postgraduate level. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Version - Overall score of 7.5 and a minimum of 7.0 in each component. Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) - Overall score of 109 with 27/30 in reading and writing and 23/30 in speaking and listening.
