This intensive one-year full-time or two-year part-time master's program provides comprehensive knowledge of applied clinical sciences, research methodologies, and principles of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Students acquire practical skills in dentoalveolar surgery through direct clinical training with UCL's specialists at the Royal National Ear, Nose and Throat and Eastman Dental Hospital. Our long-standing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery MSc delivers extensive theoretical foundations, serving as excellent preparation for expanding clinical practice capabilities, pursuing hospital training positions, or continuing advanced education.
The curriculum effectively combines academic instruction, research components, and clinical application. Participants will study research techniques, produce a dissertation, and gain hands-on surgical experience including dentoalveolar procedures.
