The MSc in Naval Architecture equips students with expertise in naval architecture principles, analytical techniques, and design methodologies applicable to both military and commercial vessels. This program prepares graduates to seamlessly join professional ship design teams. The curriculum covers ship dynamics, hydrodynamics, structural engineering, and computer-aided engineering analysis. Participants collaborate in cross-disciplinary teams with marine engineering students (from the Marine Engineering MSc) on an extensive group ship design project. Research capabilities are refined through specialized projects in hydrodynamics, ship dynamics, structural analysis, and design. Ideal candidates hold an engineering bachelor's degree, particularly in mechanical, aeronautical, civil, or naval architecture. Program alumni acquire the expertise and competencies required for professional engineering roles or senior positions in naval architecture management and procurement.
