The UCL Interaction Centre (UCLIC) stands as a premier hub for cutting-edge interdisciplinary research in human-technology interactions, informing innovative design solutions. Jointly operated by UCL's Computer Science Department and Division of Psychology and Language Sciences, UCLIC benefits from UCL's exceptional research standing - ranked second nationally for Computer Science research power and first for Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience in REF 2021.
This cross-disciplinary initiative enables postgraduate researchers to work alongside leading experts in human-computer interaction. Our partnerships extend to industrial and academic collaborators, including healthcare providers, tech manufacturers, and international institutions. State-of-the-art facilities feature an eye-tracking usability lab, adaptable research spaces, and specialized equipment for physical computing and prototyping projects.
