UCL's Institute of Education (IOE), the Faculty of Education and Society, provides globally renowned doctoral programs in education and allied social sciences. Candidates will complete four specialized training modules focusing on social science methodologies and research while conducting supervised studies. Our MPhil/PhD candidates pursue in-depth research initiatives, collaborating closely with academic supervisors throughout each research phase, while following a customized schedule of training courses and academic activities. This program offers both in-person learning options. Applicants typically require a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution and should demonstrate commitment to developing specialized research expertise.
