Pharmacology is an expansive field encompassing physiology, chemistry, neuroscience, cellular biology, biochemistry, and genetics. This adaptable three-year program provides comprehensive training while allowing students the opportunity to switch to the MSci pathway after their second year. The initial year consists entirely of mandatory modules, including chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, physiology, statistics, and core pharmacology, establishing a strong foundation for subsequent study. The second year focuses primarily on pharmacological studies with required courses, featuring extensive laboratory work and experimental pharmacology through a dedicated module. Students also select one optional module during this year. The final year offers greater flexibility with only one compulsory course, enabling students to specialize by choosing from advanced topics like psychopharmacology or immunopharmacology.
