Our five-year Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) program includes a Foundation Year designed for students who don't meet the entry requirements for the standard four-year course. This initial year helps you transition to university-level studies and takes place at Xaverian College, located conveniently near our main campus. While studying at the college, you'll maintain full University of Manchester student status, enjoying access to all university resources and support services. We welcome applicants from diverse educational backgrounds, with each application reviewed on its own merits. Successful completion of the foundation year guarantees progression to the four-year MPharm degree program.

A-level We require grades DDC - BBC including Chemistry and Maths and/or Biology plus one further rigorous academic subject (excluding General Studies or Critical Thinking). You will also need to meet the widening participation selection criteria detailed on our application process page (`How your application is considered'). International Baccalaureate 33-35 points for Arts-based students with three higher level subjects at grades 6,6,5.
