This three-year course provides an extensive mathematics education while allowing students to master two or more modern languages, including options like Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, and potentially others. Graduates gain skills suitable for careers both in Europe and internationally.
In addition to the seven primary languages, instruction may occasionally be available in other tongues such as Dutch, Hebrew, Portuguese, Scandinavian languages, and Slavonic languages.
Language courses are structured across seven proficiency levels, ranging from absolute beginner (level 1) to advanced (level 4) and post-A level (levels 5-7). Students must achieve at least level 4 in one language, with additional language study strongly recommended.
The program is available as either a three-year BSc or four-year MSci. The initial two years are identical for both degrees, and applicants are encouraged to initially register for the MSci, as transferring to the BSc remains possible during the first three years.
